THANKS AND CONGRATULATIONS!
I would like to personally thank every member that donated to the 2003 Scion Life Toy Drive. We exceeded my expectations and showed the true potential of networked contributions. I am already planning for next year's event. Congratulations to each of the website administrators for helping to brighten many childrens' holiday seasons. Merry Xmas!   -- Darren Seeman

RESULTS
The results will be updated daily and available as an image to all participating websites. (Website owners should link the following image anywhere they want results displayed)

GRAND TOTAL: 8574

Many automotive enthusiast websites banded together to deliver a total of 8574 single-pack toy cars to various charities across the US and Canada. This does not factor in many multi-packs and other toys that were donated. A conservative estimate of $6000 worth of toys were distributed to children in need this holiday season. Nine websites, consisting of over 60,000 members, managed to maintain an average donation of over 170 per day during the 50-day contest. The number of active members is actually much smaller than the 60,000 total, though, and next year we plan to get many more people involved.

Diane Epstein took control of the Element Forum to dominate the contest this year. Their best day was the day after Thanksgiving when Target has Hotwheels for $0.49! They had to visit six Target stores to fulfill their donations! She donated at Toys for Tots at the 3rd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment in Bridgeton, MO.

Darren Seeman, site owner, organized the Scion owners to pull in a respectable average of just over one car per member. This isn't bad considering that the Scion line has only been released in the state of California! He donated in Portland, OR, to the KGW Drive.

Focal Jet (ranked 4th in donations and 6th in member averages)

Ron Myers, site owner, was really excited when he found out about the toy drive idea, but since he was going to SEMA during the beginning of November his drive started a little late. Donations were made in Fort Wayne, IN.

Gavin Slater, the site's administrator, had a chore ahead of him. The South Eastern Lexus Owners Club was the smallest organization to compete, but they rocked with the highest average member donation of any site! Donations were made in Atlanta, GA.

Toyota Nation is the only contributor outside of the US this year. Dickson Ly, the site owner, had to juggle a million other commitments to get the toy drive rolling and still managed to bring in over a hundred cars. They were donated in Toronto, Canada.

Steve Klein got the shaft from Amazon.com when he spent the donation money on songle-packs but multi-packs arrived! They had over 700 cars, but because they were packaged wrong his totals were not counted in the contest. The Lexus IS300 owners still managed to generate at LEAST 300 packages of toys for donation to needy kids in the Southern Florida area.
